Meet Our Director
Tameshia McManus, the heart and soul behind Shining Scholars Tutoring, has been making a difference in the educational field since 2008. With over 15 years of experience, Tameshia is passionate about education and dedicated to empowering students to reach their full potential.

Her journey in education began as a Head Math Tutor and Assistant at KTC Learning Center in Nashville, TN, where she discovered her knack for helping students succeed in math. This led her to serve as the Director of Education at Hope Leadership Academy, a nonprofit organization providing before- and after-school care.

In 2011, Tameshia founded Shining Scholars Tutoring, a program she has nurtured and grown into a thriving resource for students in need of academic support. Her love for education extends beyond tutoring; she is also a substitute teacher, where she continues to inspire young minds in the classroom.

Tameshia's passion for math education shines through her leadership of the Infinity Mathletes Math Club at Valor Collegiate in Nashville, TN, where she helps middle school students build confidence and skills in mathematics.

With a deep commitment to making a positive impact on every student she works with, Tameshia believes in the power of education to transform lives. Her goal is to instill a lifelong love of learning in each of her students, helping them not only succeed academically but also build the confidence to achieve their dreams.
